The Morning Line: Holy Bull Stakes

In this the first edition of The Morning Line, we bring you the morning line odds for today’s Holy Bull Stakes.  Moving forward we will continue to bring you editions of The Morning Line before all upcoming derby prep feature races.

For anyone that has yet to pick up your Daily Racing Form, the odds have been set.  I don’t see the betting public swaying the odds a great deal so look for Mucho Macho Man to remain the favorite once the horses are loaded into the starting gate.

Post Time Prediction: Mucho Macho Man 2-1 favorite, followed by Gourmet Dinner @ 5/2

There are no changes to report as your field of nine horses remains in tact without any late scratches.  There is no rain expected in the area so count on the main dirt track surface to remain fast.  Based on the morning line odds, anticipate your tip sheet handicappers, writers, and experts to predict this to be a four horse race between Mucho Macho Man, Gourmet Dinner,  Black N Beauty, and Dialed In.

However, as we all have seen before, the road to the derby can be full of surprises.  So if your instincts are pointing you to an upset hold your ground because you may be right.  Good Luck to all riders, trainers, owners and fans.
